This is a weekend house for a lawyer, set in an orchard - we had designed his city house 30 years ago! It has two distinctly different wings -  the single storey open living area with steel structure and large aluminium and glass sliding doors; connected to a two storey load-bearing brick secure bedroom wing with Burma teak doors and windows.
