This house had a tricky site: 9.5m wide and 33m deep - a shared wall with the adjacent house on one long side and a required marginal open space of 3m on the other. The client, a dentist, required consulting rooms for himself. The design has turned out very well with plenty of natural light everywhere (including basement den with a landscaped courtyard) and no sense of living in a railway compartment.
