This is a weekend home built on the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Planned in a way that it could be converted into first house by adding an entire wing containing three bed-rooms in future. 

Exposed brick masonry, rough stone lintels, terracotta roofing tiles –all lend a rustic character and a ‘country-home’ feel to the house. A large veranda which overlooks the pool, is the most-used intermediate space of the house, connecting the indoors with the outdoors.
