Vepar is a complex of workshops and administrative offices for production of high quality hand-crafted garments and household furnishings for export. The inspiring site, amidst the large farm and orchard of our sophisticated client, is located on the bank of river Sabarmati. The design endeavor was to retain the informal and peaceful rural atmosphere: small buildings with pitched roofs, clay tiles and earthy colors nestled amongst trees. All buildings - ground or two storied - are organically laid around courtyards with thresholds and are connected by a single meandering path.
