This was a municipal garden in disrepute and disrepair. It was adopted by Ashima, a business house, which paid for the redevelopment and undertook maintenance. We made a wrought iron compound wall through which the garden is seen from surrounding streets, designed our landscape around existing trees, used hardy plants, provided a sprinkler system and good lighting; facilities for walkers / joggers, children's play, exercise, senior citizens to gather, lovers to tryst, people to sit quietly by ponds and fountains. It is rewarding to see the multitudes using the garden now - Law garden has become a benchmark for other public gardens.
