This was a wonderful 79,000 sq. m site on the outskirts of Ahmedabad with 25-30 year old Chiku trees planted precisely at 11m centres. Separate plots with 'bungalows' were required. We endeavored to prepare plans where minimum trees had to be cut for roads or buildings. There are three house designs with completely different styles, materials, and colours. (Privately built adjacent houses are not similar, so why in speculative housing developments ?)
