BDL - Bharat Dynamics Ltd., a Govt. of India Undertaking for manufacturing missiles, was a large complex outside Hyderabad with production buildings as well as a large administration building. We did exposed steel framed buildings with flat concrete slabs. However, the master plan was not undifferentiated and rectilinear like usual industrial areas – here there was a centre with the administration, entrance, and canteen buildings with roads radiating out to the production buildings.
